About Me

I am a researcher, educator, producer, and storyteller who lives at the intersection of science, creativity, and human connection. My professional work and personal life are shaped by a deep curiosity about how we think, make decisions, build relationships, and grow.

For over two decades, I have dedicated my professional life to building bridges between knowledge and application, thought and action, theory and lived experience. I see research not as something abstract or reserved for academic journals, but as a practical and transformative tool for understanding our world and actively contributing to its improvement.

I work with students, universities, businesses, government agencies, creative artists, and communities to translate complex ideas into practical outcomes - whether through industry innovation, behavioural research, personal development, or performance art.

My life journey has taken me through 48 countries, countless conversations, and an ever-deepening appreciation of the diverse ways people live, learn, and make decisions. I am endlessly fascinated by human behaviour, culture, systems, and the quiet strength in both individuals and communities.

I am a lifelong enthusiast of nature, animals, food, history, philosophy, fitness, personal style, and creative arts. When I am not immersed in a research project, you'll likely find me:

  • Photographing in nature
  • Creating calligraphy in a quiet corner
  • Talking to animals (yes, literally) or walking dogs through the bush
  • Sitting quietly in a tucked-away village, watching life unfold
  • Immersed in philosophy, poetry, or stories that challenge how we think.

My worldview is shaped as much by ancient Greek thinkers and Russian literature as it is by Asian philosophy and Persian poetry. These influences find their way into everything I do - from academic writing and teaching to theatre scripts and coaching conversations.

This website brings together the three domains that best represent my work and life: Supply Chain Research and Education, Chance & Choice Lab, and Sound of Silence Productions. Each offers a different lens, but they're united by one central purpose:

To help people make better decisions and live with greater clarity and purpose.
